Tried something new
I tried a 10 minute workout video with my son. Before it started I asked him if he wanted to do it with me and he said of course he would do it with me. When the lady came on the screen for the stretching warmup... he was right there stretching along. This was made even cuter by the fact that he was wearing his Iron Man pajamas doing all the moves (sort of) right along with the instructor. He followed along right up to the part where she does crunches. That is when he saw the perfect opportunity to jump on me and say "Gidddy Up Horsey! Yee Haw!" I busted out laughing, but the added weight I am sure added to the workout. LOL. It was a lot of fun. He even asked if we could do it again soon. Not sure whether he meant the workout or jumping on me.

Walking at KSC
This afternoon I decided to check out the walking/jogging trail by the building at KSC. It was a beatiful day with an awesome cool breeze. I wasn't dressed for a jog but I brought my shoes for a walk. It was a nice walk. Here are some pics I took along the way. I really enjoyed the Fit Trail signs along the way. It reminded me of the park in my home town.

While I wait in Florida!
I have been in Florida since last Saturday for work. It will be a week tomorrow and I wont be home till Monday at the earliest. So far I have been able to stay away from the sodas and fast food. My diet has been pretty good with two exceptions desserts and late night eating. Other than that it has been great.
Tonight while doing my laundry I decided to walk the floors at the hotel while I waited. The suites we are staying in have 5 floors. So while I waited for my clothes to wash @30 minutes I walked the floors up and down the stairs. I know it wasn't running on the beach or treadmill but I got off my booty and got moving.
My goal for the rest of the trip is to get more moving into my days in whatever form that takes.
